Super PV (Shift + F3)

Why this feature is cool!
You'll get a different set of data when using Shift+F3 than the normal lookup. Only a few screens so far have been found to be a "Super-PV" screen but more are expected to be found. Here are just a couple and you're more than welcome to try it in every screen.
What does it look like?
- GL Account History
- F3 = Account, Description, Type
- Shift+F3 = Account, SubAcct, LedgerID, Fiscal Year

Pay When Paid Terms
Module: Accounts Payable
Why this feature is cool!
Vendors will only be paid for services when you are paid by your customers. Also, your salepeople are only paid for commissions when you're paid.
What does it look like?
- Discount Type: "Pay When Paid" in Terms Maintenance; Apply to = Vendor.
- New screens to link or unlink an AP Voucher to an unpaid AR invoice.
- Access in AP Voucher & Adjustment Entry or AP Document Maintenance.
- AP Voucher - Document Maintenance "linked" field = checked.

New (allows you to start a new document) Highlights all connected fields (great to use before Ctrl C) Save ***careful, fat finger can end up in D for Delete Delete Finish (finish performs Save & new all at once) Copy (this works well from Project Net Profit into excel) Paste (don't rekey info from word or excel) First (takes you to the first record in that field) Last (takes you to the last record in that field) Undo paste Moves you record by record to most recently created Moves you record by record to oldest document
Opens SL Help specific to the screen you are on In a date field, brings up the relative period or relative date values; in a text field, allows enables cursor movement inside the field (including “Home” & “End”) Opens PV list or the calendar on date fields. If you prefer the mouse, double right click on the field. Toggles between “Field View” and “Grid View” – i.e. change lines to grid and grids to line in your detail areas. Double left click for the same results Clears the value in a field Inserts today’s date in a date field Opens “Yellow note” for editing Puts focus on the Solomon Tool Bar Perform a search (same as clicking the Magnifying Glass icon )
