The Employee Earnings Allocator for Microsoft Dynamics SL allows you to split your employee earnings across multiple departments and accounts. This tool is great for targeting employee expenses at multiple business units at once. If you have many employees and payroll entry is complex and laborious then this may be your answer.

Set up complex distributions using the provided entry screen and you’re done. Whether salaried or hourly, entries will be created for the correct ratios without duplicate entries occurring when the normal Payroll processing occurs.

Entries for employee earnings will accurately reflect the entered percentage distributions based on the employee and earnings types entered. The distribution ratios can be as complex as desired and still be far less error-prone than calculating the amounts by hand or transferring entries from a spreadsheet.

If the allocation scheme remains unchanged pay period to pay period, then the allocations generated will duplicate the appropriate ratio each time. This is especially important when the distributions change between regular pay, vacation, holidays, etc. The system enforces the correct distributions during entry.

Works directly with the existing Payroll and General Ledger Modules on your system to provide accurate employee check detail and account history postings and reporting. Your standard screens cannot tell the difference, and even custom reports should be able to display the automated data.

Allocations appear on-screen during data entry to demonstrate exactly how hours will be broken up among the various departments. These entries will become part of the regular Payroll system and will show up normally in batch control reports and checks.
